GUARANTEE: All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card at the time of booking. Your credit card will be charged ONLY after the booking is confirmed. Once the credit card is processed, we will e-mail you a CONFIRMATION. The deposit has been charged to your card, this charge will appear in your statement as "Elton Bank Hotel". We advise that you print your booking confirmation; you will need to present this when you check-in. CONFIRMATION: It is your responsibility to check the booking information carefully and advise us immediately if any part of the confirmation is incorrect. We are not able to accept responsibility for any errors, which are not brought to our attention immediately on receipt of confirmation. DEPOSIT: 10% of the total amount or GBP £10.00 per person whichever is the greater, to secure your reservation. If the booking is made in person, we will issue a sales receipt with any deposit paid. Unconfirmed bookings made without a deposit can only be held until 4pm. The deposit is not refundable for any reason whatsoever. PAYMENT: Cheques are only acceptable if the funds are cleared prior to your arrival. Please make cheques payable to: 'ELTON BANK HOTEL'. Major debit or credit cards are welcome, a surcharge applies to credit or debit card payment. Advance payment secures your booking. WITH REGRET - no refunds (including deposits). Accounts are due on arrival. CANCELLATION OR AMENDMENT: At least 72 hours notice of cancellation or amendment must be given on advanced booking. All cancellations or amendments must be made IN WRITING using one of the following methods: e-mail or fax, if you have no alternative but to send by post please give sufficient time for us to receive and reply. When you contact us, we require any two (2) of the following: Your Booking ID, Email Address, Name and Surname used in the booking, so that we may process your request and reply to you efficiently. A cancellation must be confirmed back to you by the Hotel. If you have not received a confirmation of the cancellation within 24 hours after submission (with the exception by Post), it means that we have not received it and you must resubmit it. Late amendment will be considered as a cancellation of an existing booking. Post 4pm cancellations or amendments are subject to a one night charge. Amendments are subject to availability and incurs a charge of GBP £8.00 per amendment. RE-CONFIRM YOUR BOOKING: All bookings made through an Agent will receive an e-mail requesting you to re-confirm. If we do not receive your re-confirmation 72 hours prior to your arrival date then we can not guarantee you the room(s). NO SHOW: In the event of no show, or if you fail to take up the accommodation by the time stated, without prior arrangement with us, then the booking will be automatically cancelled and the deposit will be forfeited. Your card will be charged for the first night's accommodation per 7 nights of stay. We may also charge you a cancellation fee. RELOCATION: In case of any unforeseen circumstances the hotel reserves the right to make an alternative accommodation. It is our obligation to relocate you to the designated hotel which has similar standards as our hotel or higher graded facilities. The balance of your reservation is payable to us, if you agree to this arrangement you will not be liable for any price difference and you have given us your permission to make the decision on your behalf. We recommend that you make sure that you are satisfied with the allocated hotel before checking-in. We cannot be held responsible for any dissatisfaction or claims once you have checked into the allocated hotel. Elton Bank Hotel is not responsible for any extra costs i.e. Evening meals, drinks, services and any damages you may have caused. You are fully responsible for any extra costs at the allocated Hotel. CHECK-IN TIME: 12:00 – 23:00 (or by prior arrangement) CHECK-OUT TIME: You are requested to vacate your room by 11:00 on the day of departure. Any delay will be charged minimum GBP £6.00 per hour per room. If you leave three (3) or more luggages in the Hotel, this will incur a charge of GBP £5.00 per day per person. ROOM CLEANING: Between 11:00-13:00. The hotel staff will not enter the room if it is occupied. KEYS: Late night keys provided for guests returning to the Hotel after 23:00. A charge will be made for the loss of keys at cost. SMOKEFREE: No smoking throughout the Hotel. If complaints are made against you then you may be asked to leave the Hotel without any refund and fined a minimum of £35.00 upwards. CURFEW: From 23:00 - 07:00 no disturbances of any kind must be made that would disturb other guests. If complaints are made against you then you may be asked to leave the Hotel without any refund. GROUP BOOKINGS: All payment are non-refundable in case of no show / cancellations or reduction in numbers. A refund is only available if the room(s) are re-let. Remainder due 4 weeks prior to arrival. VALUABLES: On arrival, it is advisable to deposit any valuables at the Reception, also when checking out, please make sure that you have taken all your belongings with you as the Hotel regretfully cannot otherwise accept responsibility. LOST PROPERTIES: Any items found in the hotel that are not claimed within two months will be donated to a good cause. PET: Regretfully, the hotel is unable to accept pets. The Hotel does accept guide dogs. LICENSED BAR & RESTAURANT: Monday to Sunday 18:00 - 23:00 VISITORS: Visitors are not allowed in the bedrooms. A charge will be incurred. CHILDREN: Children aged 16 years and under need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. TARIFFS: All prices quoted are per room (excludes any special offer), per night inclusive of complimentary breakfast and service. PARKING: All cars are parked at the owner's own risk. PROMOTIONS: We may send you updated news and information electronically with details of special offers and promotions.
